The heart of the distillery is the Hacienda “El Olvido,” where traditional tequila has been produced for nearly a century. The agave for Aha Toro comes from fields in the highlands at an altitude of 1800 to 2000 meters. The production process emphasizes tradition: to extract the agave juice, the typical stone mill, the Tahona, is still used. After careful distillation in copper pot stills, Aha Toro is aged in former Jack Daniel’s barrels made of American white oak, each with a capacity of only 200 liters.
“Aha Toro is made in the small village of Jesus Maria in Jalisco for Destilados Olé.”
Sierra Madre is the exclusive importer of Aha Toro in Germany.
